Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the recommended age for these programmes?

Most programmes focus on young people aged 12 to 17. There are also options for younger children (from age 10) and pre-university programmes for young people aged 13 to 15, and 16 to 18.

How do safety and supervision work on-site?

Safety is the number one priority. Students are supervised 24 hours a day by local coordinators, staff and teachers who live on the campus itself. There are strict rules for leaving campus, curfews and rigorous safety ratios during off-campus activities.

Are flights and transfers included?

Flights are booked independently. The airport transfer service is mandatory if the student is a minor and travelling alone; the school provides this service for an additional fee. A member of the course staff will be waiting for the student right in the airport arrivals area.

Can two friends or siblings go together and stay in the same room?

It always depends on the school. However, we can make that request at the time of enrolment. Nevertheless, we always advise sharing a room with students of other nationalities to push them to practice the language and make new friends.

What is daily life like in a Summer Course?

The days are super dynamic. Typically, mornings are dedicated to classes or practical workshops. Afternoons and evenings are filled with sports, group activities, themed parties, and cultural excursions to neighbouring cities. However, this can vary depending on the course the student chooses. We always send an example of a week’s activities so that students and parents can get an idea of what it’s like.

When does registration close for the summer?

Spots start filling up very early. Ideally, you should book between January and April. It is still possible in May if there are remaining spots, we just need to check. After that, the best campuses sell out and flight prices start to rise considerably.
